Can I have my dog or pet sit in the private jet’s cabin with me when flying by private jet?

The answers to both questions are yes; your doggies and pets are welcome on board our private jets with the correct relevant paperwork and can fly with you in the cabin wherever you wish to go, subject to destination border controls.

We will assist with all the paperwork and make flying in one of our private jets very comfortable for you and your dog or furry companion.

How dogs travel with Charter-A

Your dog sits in the cabin with you, on a lead or in a soft carrier, for the whole flight. There is no hold, no crate in a cargo shed and no separation at the airport. Most dogs settle within minutes of take-off, and crews are used to carrying them. Cats and other small pets travel the same way.

The paperwork

For travel into the UK a dog needs a microchip, a valid rabies vaccination and either an EU pet passport or an animal health certificate, plus tapeworm treatment for most routes. Arrival must be through an airport approved to receive pets, and the handling agent checks the documents on landing. We confirm the current requirements for your route when we quote, and we tell you exactly which documents to bring. Rules differ for travel to the EU, Switzerland and further afield, and we check those too.

Which aircraft and airports

Almost all aircraft on our fleet accept dogs; a few operators limit the number or size, so we ask about your dog when we source the aircraft. Approved arrival airports in the UK include Biggin Hill, Farnborough, Luton, Stansted, Birmingham and Manchester among others.
