How a short-notice charter works
A 24-hour operation only matters if someone answers the phone and can act. Our flight desk is staffed around the clock, and the first thing we do with an urgent request is check which aircraft are physically closest to you and crewed to fly. For departures within the UK and near Europe, a light jet or turboprop such as a King Air 200 can often be airborne within a few hours; for longer sectors a mid-size or heavy jet is positioned from one of the main bases.
What we need from you
- Departure and destination, or the nearest towns if you are not sure of the airports.
- The earliest you can be at the airport and the latest you must arrive.
- Passenger names as they appear on passports, for an international sector.
- Luggage, pets and anything unusual about the trip.
With that we can give you a fixed price and a realistic departure time, usually within the hour. Border clearances, slot availability and crew duty limits are the three things that govern how fast a jet can move, and we tell you plainly where each one stands.
